Good evening to everybody; I’m very pleased to welcome you on the new IMJ website!
Result of a work started several months ago, this is the first step toward a more international version of our website, with the goal of welcoming our judge-friends in the entire world.
Born in 2005, what you see is the third version of our precious judge website, a repository of more than 850 articles, 150 news, 100 personal pages and 300 premier tournaments with their staffs.
There are many new features, some of them are already available, others will be available soon. Here you have some:
- Integrated with Facebook: whether you love it or hate it, now you will be able to Like or Share your favorite articles; more, you will be able to do it with tournaments and judges too!
- Registration on the website: thanks to this feature, you will soon receive a mail informing you whenever an article or an announcement is uploaded to the site!
- A more readable and attractive graphic style (at least, we hope it is better!).
- Navigation with tags: are you interested in finding all the articles or announcements about a specific topic (for example: “For players”)? After our next updates, you will be able to start using this functional navigation tool.
- A better search engine.
- Google translator, in case you really struggle with English; the automatic translator is not so great, but it’s surely useful in case of need J
- Bilingual website! Differentiated articles for the Italian and the English version (from January 2012; we do want to enjoy our holidays ^__^).
- Management and upload interface improved by 1000% (but this improvement will be enjoyed only by our fantastic administrators).
The transition from the old to the new website has been long and tiring and it’s possible that you will find errors and malfunctions, or some articles might have disappeared. If you find any problems, please inform us and you will help us in improving the website! We will work very hard to fix everything.
NOTE: the RESOURCE section with all the documents in Italian and English is temporary unavailable. Don’t worry, it will be available very soon.
